Alexia Bréard-Anderson (b. 1993) is a Argentinean-Canadian writer, curator and arts administrator living and blossoming in Tkaronto.
She is currently the gallery administrator at Sur Gallery: the city's first gallery space dedicated to the implementation of art projects which showcase and promote contemporary Latin American artistic practices. In 2017, she led the project coordination of Taking Roots: a youth civic engagement program for emerging Latinx youth artists in the city.
Alexia is also undergoing her final year at university, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree specialized in Art Criticism and Curatorial Practices. Her thesis research focuses on how art can be used as a tool to critique and subvert the effects of Canadian mining companies in Latin America.
