These are studies on perception - the use of lines to create images both recognizable and abstract.
Huy explores content found in negative space. Inspired by nature, his work reduces the images to their most basic form, removing distractions while retaining a narrative.
Zoë uses lines to explore textures and organic shapes. Each line is drawn freehand, always with the expectation of being perfectly straight, always with an imperfect outcome. These lines are a reminder that it is the imperfections that invite us to look little longer.
